Full head of foils is generally done from the nape up.  We break it up in thirds because we believe this is the easiest way and the most popular way in which foils are placed for high and low lighting.  You may choose to do high and low in one application, yes this is possible as well.  There is a cost factor involved please ask your colorist for details.
