Waving is a way of instating wave or curl into the hair.  The terminology of today is texture.  Formerly called permanent waving we have tended to get away from the extremely curly perms of the late seventies or early eighties.  Waving does not to to last for 6 months any more.  In fact with the waving of today they are so conditioning that they rarely last that long.  We want to add texture to the hair not curl it into oblivion.  Like coloring services we use our judgement and the integrity of the hair as a guide.
