Service Provider Bio's

Started at AbFab Salon and Spa: March 2008

Brenda Skermont (Spa specialist)  is our Spa Director.  She is a navy veteran and has been in the beauty industry for over 30 years. She graduated from Deloux School of Cosmetology in 1978 and from Accurate Academy of Electrolysis in 1984.  She earned her teaching license in 1980 and taught aesthetics and nails for 3 years. She once owned 2 different nail salons in Illinois.

Among her lst of many accomplishments are the following:

• Former nail competitor with multiple 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place wins.
• Made Nails Magazine “Top 25 Competitors” in 1995.
• Works for American International Industries as part of their “Global Education Team” and is part of the “Train the Trainers” team. Teaches professionals how to perform services with the companies products, not only in the USA but in Mexico, Canada, Norway, Finland, Iceland, France, Holland, Russia, and Poland to train international educators.

She teaches and works with the following products: EZ Flow Acrylic and Gel, IBD Acrylic and Gel, China Glaze polish, Seche Vite products, ESN and Supernail products, Clean & Easy and GiGi Wax products,Ardell Lashes and Lash Be Long eyelash extensions.

Her personal philosophy is to strive to offer the best service possible with the best products possible so her clients not only feel great but look great. She also believes that quality service come from quality education. Education never stops but must be ongoing to stay on top of your field.

Brenda is married with 3 children, 2 who are nail technicians!!
